LIVING IN THE BALANCE

Outwardly, we not only strive for, but we crave comfort, validation, knowledge and power.  But in the manner of what true virtue is;
If we are to find comfort, we must learn discontent.
If we are to find validation, we must learn our faults.
If we are to find knowledge, we must learn to recognize the boundaries of ignorance.
If we are to gain power, we must learn the servitude of submission.

LIVE CONSCIOUSLY

Though you and I both may see at the same time, the same strip of cloth, in the same light, in the same context...if I see with my eyes and you see with your eyes; then the one strip of cloth is seen twice in two different ways.

There is a nagging diablo who sits in wait at the gates of our mouths to cause the intention of our thought to be misconstrued.  But when there is no thought at all, he humors himself with light words that are forever stained upon our lips.

In other words...Think before you speak; don't allow your words to make a fool of you.

Personal Accountability

There is no harm in identifying the origin of a problem, dilemma, quandary, predicament, etc.  But we should be careful to not focus so much attention on the origin of things that we forget the fact of things--or in other words, we forget the current situation.  We cannot change the things that were done in the past, we can only learn from them or suffer of them.

The longer it takes for us to determine a solution to an unwelcomed situation, the more intricate it becomes.  Of course, solutions are not very easily spoken into existence.   As it was it high school, name calling and finger pointing are both childish and pointless.

The best to be done is to assume a position of personal accountability.  Stand against the things we are not convicted to stand for.  An individual is not always the entire effect of a solutions, but the solution must undoubtedly begin with the individual.
